Color Guard is the precise and elegant display of our nations flag, as well as that of the Marine Corps. Each color guard team consists of four cadets, two armed with rifles and two presenting the flags. Our color guard marches for many events throughout the year and performs during the national anthem at our school for football games. Our competitive color guard learns a drill card, which they execute in perfect synchronized step during regional and national competition.
Color guard practice occurs once a week for the duration of an hour. Practice is open to all cadets, and those who show commitment to the practice time join us at competition, regardless of if they make the competitive team.
