Ms. Carrie Brown was born and raised in the Clearwater/Dunedin area.  She is a product of Pinellas County Schools (and even attended Curtis when she was a kid).  She started her teaching career in Pinellas County in 2007 and has been going strong ever since.  In 2017, she jumped into gifted education services after having taught 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade general education classes.

Ms. Brown enjoyed 5 Gator-tastic years at the University of Florida, earning her BA in Elementary Education (2006) and MEd in Special Education (2007).  She is also Gifted, Reading, and ESOL endorsed.  

In her spare time, Ms. Brown enjoys being outside, birding, butterfly gardening, going to Disney World, and spending time with her first born son (Ben Hill Griffin Brown - her Golden Retriever) and her girl-boy twins, exploring what life has to offer, near and far, from where they reside in Dunedin, FL.
