• Common Application:

    1.     Complete the Common Application at www.commonapp.org

    2.     Provide my name and email address as your school counselor.

    3.     Provide email addresses for two teachers who will be writing letters of recommendation.

    4.     Provide your teachers at MINIMUM a two week notice for the letter of recommendation.

    5.     Transcripts will be uploaded electronically to all schools identified on your common application

    6.     Application must be submitted by December 1, 2015, in order for Mrs. Shepherd-Thompson to complete your letter of recommendation and upload your transcript.

     

    Out of State Schools or any School NOT on the Common Application:

    1.     Complete and submit the online application through your selected school’s website.

    2.     Complete the transcript request form located in Mrs. Smiths’ office: There is a fee of $1.00.

    3.     Contact SAT (collegeboard.com) and/or ACT (actstudent.org) to have your standardized test scores sent to your schools.

    4.     Provide Mrs. Shepherd-Thompson with any and all necessary paperwork that must be sent with your transcript by December 1, 2015.

     

    In State Public Universities:

    1. Complete and submit the online application through your selected school’s website.
    2. See Mrs. Pat Smith to request an electronic transcript to be sent to each school.  It may take 14 days or more before your school receives your transcript, so plan accordingly for deadlines.
    3. Contact SAT (collegeboard.com) and/or ACT (actstudent.org) to have your standardized test scores sent to your schools.
    4. No information needs to be submitted to Mrs. Shepherd-Thompson.
