Level System

  • Part of our Positive Behavior System at Richard L. Sanders is the Level System. The Level System is based on the student's daily behavior points. Each student begins on Level 1 Day 1 when they begin school. If students earn 80 points or more on a given day, then they move up a day. If students earn 80 points or more for 20 days, the last 5 days need to be a consecutive 80 points or more, then students earn the privilege to move up to Level 2. On Level 2, students need to earn 85 points or more for 25 days, the last 8 days need to be a consecutive 85 points or more, then students earn the privilege to move up to Level 3. On Level 3, students need to earn 90 points or more for 30 days and then they are considered for level 3 honors. Level 3 honors requires students to earn 95 points or more.

To move up through the Levels, students are required to complete applications by answering questions and getting all the required signatures. When submitting their application to the administrators, students are required to indicate any major referrals and share their data tracking binder.
