Tiger Sports
Largo Middle IB World School offers several team sports in which our learners can participate. Each of these activities meets outside of school hours to practice and compete. Participating and being part of a team can be a satisfying and rewarding part of your child's middle school experience. Requirements for Participation
- Student's grade point average must be 2.0 or higher.
- Student's behavior at school must be satisfactory to excellent. All students are expected to maintain these standards throughout the school year and not just during the time of team participation.
- Students and guardians must complete the following forms prior to tryouts. These can be found and completed online. See the link below.
- All students participating in extracurricular activities are REQUIRED to purchase Student Accident Insurance, per Pinellas County School Board policy. This insurance is required of ALL participants, whether covered by a major medical policy or not. There are several different options for coverage. Students who are already covered by a health plan may opt to have a low option coverage; however, student accident insurance coverage is mandatory. Here is the link to access and purchase. - Students are also required to have a current physical prior to participation in school activities. This physical must have been completed within the last 12 months.
