• Commitment to Character

The Commitment to Character Program is one way to insure that all students benefit from consistent reinforcement of core social values that make good citizens. These four key concepts are Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Self-motivation. These four traits were derived from a community wide survey of over 1000 organizations, including School Advisory Councils, PTA's, government social service, and religious organizations. The traits were adopted by consensus at a community wide forum. They clearly describe the key elements necessary for humans to get along in a social situation, no matter what the religious, ethnic, or racial background.

Each month the school focuses on character traits.  Attached is the PCSB poster for character trait focus and month alignment.
