    Program J100400 consists of a planned sequence of courses.

    Composites Technician 1 - Course ETI0462 (300 Hours) - Content includes demonstrating an understanding of composites; workplace safety and organization; the ability to read and interpret prints and part drawings; methodologies of quality assurance and quality control concepts; and, an understanding of foreign object debris (FOD) and compliance.

    Composites Technician 2 - Course ETI0463 (300 Hours) - Content includes the importance and use of measurement tools, instruments, and testing devices; demonstrating learned composite processes; principles of tooling and molds; performance of precision assembly; and, performance of final inspection and comparing finished product to specified standard.

    Industry Certification: ACMA Certified Composites Technician - Vacuum Infusion Process

    Minimum Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirement:  70%

    Minimum Attendance Requirement:  70%

    Basic Skills Exit Requirement for Program CompletionStudent's competency in computation (mathematics) and communication (reading/language arts) is assessed; required basic skills grade levels are: Computation - 9 and Communication - 9.
