About Belcher Elementary

Belcher Elementary School was established in 1959, and it has undergone many changes, renovations, and improvements throughout the years. Due to a diverse and evolving population of students, we have become an ESOL center with ample support for students. Belcher Elementary became a Title 1 school during the 2003-2004 school year, and we are continually invested in finding ways to support all the students we are charged to serve. Our staff routinely engage in professional development to better understand the ways our students' brains develop and how they best learn. Our teachers apply for and receive flexible seating grants, and purchase high-interest books for our classroom libraries. We are dedicated to our motto, Believe-Act-Achieve!
