PCS Connects Program

  • PCS Connects is Pinellas County School’s one-to-one student device initiative. During the school year, all students in grades three through five are assigned a Dell laptop to use during the school day. For students in grades 3, 4, and 5, parents must elect to opt in to the PCS Connects Home program through Focus for students to bring their assigned laptop home each day. Students with home permission use devices to extend learning after school hours for enrichment and reinforcement of the curriculum and are expected to bring their laptops to class each day fully charged and ready for learning.

Students in grades K-2 are assigned a device that remains at school for use during the school day.  Digital resources are embedded in daily face-to-face instruction to facilitate research, creation, critical thinking, and collaboration.

District Content Specialists create exciting enrichment opportunities for students to access outside of the school day. Information can be found on our Level Up Page.

In addition, students are expected to take good care of their assigned device and report any problems to their teacher immediately.
