  • School Principal - Aaron McWilliams

Welcome to Pinellas Park Elementary School. We make learning engaging and fun! I feel extremely fortunate to be the principal of a school with such wonderful children, devoted staff, and parents who collaborate with us to create an environment that drives student learning.  Our faculty and staff are highly committed to supplying the most rewarding educational experience possible through a wide variety of innovative and collaborative activities. We want to make the process of learning an enjoyable experience. Your child's education is our top priority! We look forward to collaborating with you to make your child’s educational experience a positive one.

The “A” Rated Pinellas County School District Curriculum guides the high-quality instruction that takes place every day in the classrooms at Pinellas Park Elementary. Our curriculum is aligned to the Florida State Standards, which promote 21st Century learning skills.

As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, teachers will continue to use more research-based strategies to promote high student achievement through the integration of the 4 C’s (Collaboration, Creativity, Communication and Critical Thinking). We feel strongly that the initiatives already in place supply a solid foundation for exceptional learning. This, along with the support of our families and community, makes Pinellas Park Elementary an amazing place to learn and work.

We applaud our parents as family involvement in our school community is rapidly increasing. Thank you. Research shows that family involvement is the number one factor in determining student success in school. Family involvement can take a variety of forms: First and foremost, it means getting children to school every day and getting them there on time. This cannot be stressed enough. Secondly, please READ to your child every evening. This helps students build their vocabulary and love of reading, as well as impressing the importance of reading. Finally, checking student homework, providing your student with a quiet place for homework completion, and being aware of grade progress are all important to student success. Parents who can volunteer in the school, we would encourage you to do so! Please stop and see us if you would like more information. These opportunities can provide you with a firsthand look at the culture and expectations set up at Pinellas Park Elementary as well as contributing to the positive climate of the school. WE ARE BEARS!
