Welcome to Plumb Elementary!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to all of you as the Principal of Plumb Elementary, home of the Pelicans!  At Plumb Elementary our mission is academic and personal growth for each scholar. This mission is fundamental to my belief that through commitment and collaboration each scholar will meet their full potential. By focusing on the development of both academics and social growth Plumb students will leave elementary school prepared for middle school, high school and ultimately for college and career readiness. I, along with the entire staff, am committed to making this school year a positive experience for you and your family. We are committed to excellence in instruction and providing a safe learning environment for all. I look forward to your support and cooperation to ensure a successful school year.

About Mrs. Del Duca

My career in education began in 1990 and I taught various grade levels in both Pennsylvania and California. After taking time off to raise my children I resumed my professional career as an educator in Pinellas County in 2006. I worked as a classroom teacher at Sandy Lane Elementary for 7 years.  In 2013, while completing my Masters in Educational Leadership at the University of South Florida I served as an Administrative Intern at Lakewood Elementary. In 2014, I became the Assistant Principal at Plumb Elementary and have served in that role until the present. I am honored to now serve as the Principal of Plumb.
