    Students meet monthly to explore different cultures and how they impact a variety of topics. They celebrate historical events and understanding between cultures at school.

    Extended Learning Program - Promise Time
    Promise Time Extended Learning Program is a great time to catch up, keep up and get ahead with small group tutoring in reading and math, digital learning i-Ready®, and enrichment clubs for students.
     
     
    Start with Hello Week / SAVE Club
    Every year, students celebrate building socially inclusive learning environments through inquiry lessons and small but powerful actions to support students. Students learn that by starting with "hello", they can be a friend and ally to all learners. Throughout the year, our SAVE Club raises awareness about school safety.

    Walk to School Day, supported by Publix
    This is a great community and safety event. Students, parents and teachers join the City of Largo Police and FireDepartments along with other community partners to walk to school.
    Celebrate Life! Live Drug Free
     
     
     
    Red Ribbon Week
    Celebrate Life! Live Drug Free. During this week, students engage in activities that encourage them to celebrate their well-being and live drug-free lives.  We empower students and families to make informed choices that will benefit their health and well-being.
     
     
     
    Peace Week
    During this week, students participate in learning more about peace through inquiry, research, and school-wide action projects. We celebrate The International Day of Peace and strive to strengthen the ideals of peace.
     
     
     
    Great American Teach-In
    Career day taken to new heights! Community partners share their expertise with students to help them explore the many career opportunities available to them.

    As a school community, students and families participate in an action project helping various community outreach centers.
     
     
     
    Discovery Nights / District Application Programs
    During this night, we open our doors to families that are interested in learning more about our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. Families engage in learning sessions, inquiry stations and a school tour. Families are encouraged to consider our Primary Years Program for their students.
     
     
     
    Ready, Set, Kindergarten!
    Families are welcomed on campus to learn about the world of Kindergarten! Parents will receive information about Kindergarten expectations and how to help develop their students' mastery of Kindergarten skills. More information can be found here.
     
     
     
    Kindness Week
    To celebrate kindness, students inquire into ways they can take action to help spread kindness in our community.  A school-wide action project collects necessary items for our local community outreach center - RCS Grace House.
     
     
     
    Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!
    Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! is a state-wide initiative to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire Florida's students and families to make reading part of their daily routines. Students participate in literacy-based inquiry projects to help strengthen their love of reading.
