About:

• The Centers for Innovation and Digital Learning will provide a technology-rich environment with electronic devices for all students in grades K-­‐5 and interactive online lessons to complement traditional curriculum.
• The Centers for Innovation and Digital Learning will uniquely integrate an electronic device,such as iPads and interactive whiteboards, into traditional curriculum areas, from reading and writing to the arts and physical education.
• Personalized learning will be a focal point at the Centers for Innovation and Digital Learning,ensuring that student lessons will be geared to their individual learning styles.
• Families will play an important role in the learning process of students attending the Centersfor Innovation and Digital Learning. There will be blended learning opportunities incorporating a mixture of online learning and traditional face-­‐to-­‐face lessons. Students will also be encouraged to bring home electronic devices for specific guided activities to readystudents for future lessons in the classroom.

Uniform Policy:

Uniforms are mandatory at Gulf Beaches Elementary Magnet School.
Boys and girls must wear collared shirts. The color choices are navy blue, forest green and white.
Boys and girls must wear khaki bottoms. Shorts are permitted. Girls may wear jumpers and skirts.

School spirit shirts may only be worn on Fridays or on uniform optional days.
