Parents and Community Members,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Seventy-Fourth Street Elementary, home of the Jaguars. It is an honor and my pleasure to serve as the proud principal of Seventy-Fourth Street Elementary. I am so proud of the work we have put into building our culture this past school year. We welcomed our families back on campus for monthly events. We celebrated our scholars at monthly PBIS celebrations and Jaguar Jams. We also increased our overall proficiency in both ELA and Math.

Seventy-Fourth Street is a school with high expectations as well as sustained parent and community involvement. I am committed to building the school’s success by maintaining a positive and safe learning environment that focuses on what is best for our scholars. At Seventy-Fourth Street we plan for elevated levels of learning for the benefit of all scholars.

I am committed to continuing our progress by increasing student proficiency in all academic areas. I will provide you with timely information that allows us to become partners in your child’s learning. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher, the front office or myself. I look forward to this upcoming 2024 – 2025 school year.

I am truly proud to serve as the principal of Seventy-Fourth Street Elementary School. Go Jaguars!!

Kindest Regards,

Christen Ku

Ms. Alexandra Owens

Hello 74th Street Family,

I am Alexandra Owens, your proud Assistant Principal. This will be my fourth year here, and I am excited to continue to learn and grow along side our staff and students. We have worked hard to continue to increase our proficiency and I know that the 24 - 25 school year will be a successful one.

I want to share a little bit about me. I was raised in Marietta, Georgia and was a product of Cobb County Schools. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree and the University of South Florida for my master program. My husband and two children moved to Pinellas County in 2015. I fell in love with Pinellas’ beaches and soon after fell in love with its schools. This is my 19th year in education and I feel confident it will be the best one.
