Greetings Wildcats!

I am truly honored to have been chosen as the Principal of Lake St. George Elementary. I’m excited to be a part of an educational environment that values academic excellence, the arts, and supports the student experience. I will continue to uphold the traditions that have long been a part of this wonderful community. Our focus will continue to be on academic excellence, embracing the arts, and providing meaningful and memorable student experiences both in the classroom and beyond.

I am a mom of three boys, have two dogs, and live in our community. I am a product of Pinellas County Schools. I attended College locally and graduated from the University of South Florida with my undergraduate degree in Varying Exceptionalities and master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I have had the privilege of teaching and leading in various schools in our district ranging from south county to mid-county and am happy to be closer to home and serve our community school. I have learned and continue to learn from each student, family, and the dedicated teachers I’ve crossed paths with. My educational philosophy is centered around creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and staff. I have abundant experiences working with diverse student populations as well as unique needs, including trauma and children with medically fragile needs.

Communication is a vital part of a successful home-school-community partnership. I ask a lot of questions and listen even more. I value your feedback and partnership in your child’s education. I encourage parents and guardians to actively engage in their child's education, attend school events, and collaborate with our highly effective and dedicated teachers and staff. Together, we will ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to thrive throughout their educational journey and in life.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you more, and am confident that with our joint efforts, we will inspire success and greatness in our students for years to come.

I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal of Lake Saint George Elementary.  I began my educational career in 1999 before taking off several years to raise my children.  I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Florida. I look forward to an outstanding school year and getting to know the families at Lake Saint George! GO WILDCATS!
