Gibbs High School Advisory Council (SAC)

  •

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 5pm to 6pm

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team that represents various segments of our community – parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/industry people and other interested community members. The purpose of the SAC is to assist in developing and evaluating the results of the School Improvement Plan and to assist the principal with the annual school budget. Additionally, the SAC receives funds a portion of the money "to be used at the discretion of the SAC for implementing the school improvement plan."

Each school in the State of Florida must have a SAC composed of the principal and an “appropriately balanced” number of “stakeholders.” These stakeholders must be representative of the ethnic, racial, and economic makeup of the community served by the school.

We invite you to be part of our School Advisory Committee. We hope you will join us as we update you and discuss important issues.

For links to attend the SAC meetings virtually, please see the section "SAC Meeting Dates" on the left.
