    What is ESOL?

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a program designed specifically to improve the language proficiency of students whose native language is not English. Students in this program receive academic instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. ESOL teachers are there to provide extra support for these students so they can succeed and excel in academics. An integral part of our program is our bilingual assistants. They help students in their classrooms, as well provide assistance to families with home / school communications. We strive to promote an appreciation of different cultures and their contributions to our society.
