Students who would like to participate in athletics must complete paperwork online, and have that paperwork approved, before they are permitted to workout, condition, try-out, or practice for any of our athletic teams. Athletic paperwork for the 2022-2023 school year is ready to be completed online! Visit https://athleticclearance.com/ to begin the process.
Parent and student e-signatures will still be required. Students will still need to upload a completed and dated physical on FHSAA paperwork. Students will still need to upload proof of purchase for school insurance (regardless of personal insurance policies), and upload proof of completing all FHSAA required annual courses. Parents and students should print and sign the confirmation page and bring it to Kristopher Foote, footek@pcsb.org, to complete the process. Students who have never participated in athletics still need to bring in an original birth certificate, one time only, for verification purposes, before participating in any athletic contests. We can't wait to see our students and get back to sports in the Fall!

As stated above, students need to purchase K12 Student Insurance from the HSRI website. Proof of insurance must be uploaded. This must be purchased regardless of personal insurance plans.
As stated above, student athletes must complete the following courses before they can participate in athletics:
1. Concussion in Sports
2. Heat Illness Prevention
3. Sudden Cardiac Arrest
The courses can be found on the NFHS website.
Student athletes must upload their completion certificates for each course.
*Students in all grade levels must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 in order to participate in sports.
A ninth or tenth grader who does not have a cumulative 2.0 grade point average may sign an academic contract and participate in athletics, provided he/she has a 2.0 grade point average the previous semester.
