🎓 Graduation Day Parking & Shuttle Information

A detailed Parking and Shuttle Map is included for your reference.

• All City of Clearwater Public Parking Garages and Lots (marked in purple on the map) and five privately owned lots (marked with bold green borders) are available for parking during the ceremony.
• Standard parking rates apply at all locations.
• Shuttle buses will run continuously beginning at 6:00 AM on the day of the ceremony, transporting guests to and from parking areas.
• Handicapped parking is available to vehicles with proper placards or license plates. Key accessible locations include:
  • N. Osceola Ave. (between Drew and Cleveland Streets – closed to regular traffic)
  • West end of Cleveland Street near the BayCare Sound entrance

⛈ Severe Weather Plan

Graduation is an outdoor event. In the case of inclement weather:

• If it rains without lightning, the ceremony will proceed as scheduled.
• If lightning is present, the ceremony may be delayed for up to 30 minutes.
  • If conditions do not improve, the ceremony will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, and will be held in the school auditorium.
  • If this occurs, the principal will notify families via email, the school’s website, and social media.
• Please be aware: if rescheduled, some ceremony components may be modified, but the reading of graduate names and diploma distribution will remain intact.

🎒 Permitted & Prohibited Items at The BayCare Sound

To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, please be aware of the venue’s security policies:

Permitted Items:

• Clear bags (12" x 6" x 12") or small clutch bags (4.5" x 6.5")
• Blankets or towels (up to 30" x 60")
• Empty, clear hydration packs
• Diaper and medical bags (subject to screening)

Prohibited Items include (but are not limited to):

• Outside containers, bottles, cans, food & drinks

• Umbrellas

• Chairs or seating with arms/backs/zippers

• Weapons (e.g., knives, mace), hazardous materials

• Coolers

• Illegal drugs

• Smoking/vaping

• Lawn chairs, inflatable loungers, oversized bags

• Aerosols (e.g., sunscreen)

• Confetti, glitter, glow sticks, noisemakers

• Tripods, selfie sticks, recording devices

• Drones, balloons, strollers, hoverboards

• Props resembling weapons, unauthorized sales or distribution

• Animals (except service animals meeting requirements)

Note: The venue is cashless. Reverse ATMs will be available on site to convert cash into prepaid cards.

📱 Ceremony Programs

• BayCare Sound is a paperless venue.
• Programs will be available via QR code at the ceremony.
• Printed copies will be provided to graduates when they pick up their diplomas after the ceremony.
