The Center of Education and Leadership is a career academy at Seminole High School

that helps students learn the skills they need to be future teachers, whether it's in a classroom or a boardroom.

Every career field values employees who are prepared to be leaders in the workplace and who are skilled in sharing their knowledge with others in creative, cooperative ways. 

CEL is a program designed for students who are interested in the field of education and for those who want to graduate with strong leadership skills that will propel them into success regardless of their chosen career paths. 

CEL prepares students for on-time graduation leading to post-secondary education and career success through personalized learning. We foster student leadership and involvement on campus and provide all CEL students with opportunities for college and career reasearch, personal mentoring, volunteering, career shadowing and career-based internships.

The Center for Education and Leadership (CEL) and the iHawk Academy have merged to give students an opportunity for a variety of pathways to success.
