Pasadena Safety Patrols are 5th grade students, who apply every 3 months to be on the squad.  Applicants must be approved by all their teachers and must demonstrate responsibility, academic achievement, good behavior and citizenship.  Patrols are taught to be responsible for the safety of our students as they transition to or from their cars and while walking in the hallways.
 
The Safety Patrol program’s goal is to teach students about the responsibility to commitment, setting an example for others to follow and maintaining their classroom/homework expectations daily.  If students maintain all the above expectations and want to be a patrol, they will be given the opportunity to serve on one of the 3 squads during the year.
