Girlfriends of Pinellas is designed to empower young ladies in Pinellas County through academic support and mentorship. The program is designed for participants to work closely with mentors and other group members to foster a supportive relationship through reinforcement in behavior, academic achievement and social growth.

One of the components in the Girlfriends of Pinellas Organization is to assist the young ladies in developing a professional wardrobe. All young ladies will be required to have the following items:

A professional knee length black skirt/pants
A professional solid colored pastel/white shirt (no stripes or designs)
Professional black shoes 

The young ladies are required to wear this attire to school for the entire day on Girlfriend of Pinellas Meeting days (the last Friday of each month).
