Sawgrass is fortunate to have a district funded Science Lab for use

by all students in grades 1-5.

 

 

Each class visits the lab a few times a year as they rotate through life, earth

and physical science curriculum.  Nature of Science concepts are

taught throughout the year which helps students build on their knowledge

of the scientific process.

 

Along with all lab materials, a classroom set of Kindle Fires is provided

to use in conjunction with science probes to gather  and analyze information

and provide a resource for on-demand research.
