Awards:

We are pleased to share that Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Elementary School is participating in the Alliance for a Healthier Generation's Healthy Schools Program and currently holds a National Healthy Schools Silver Award. We will be working with the Alliance to transform our school into an environment where students eat healthier and move more.

Rawlings Elementary was also recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and received the Healthier US School Challenge Bronze Award. 

Fundraisers:

All of Rawlings Elementary's fundraising efforts during school and outside of school hours must meet the USDA's Smart Snacks in School nutrition standards.  Therefore all fundraisers will sell only non-food items.
