Pasadena Fundamental Elementary School Suggested Supplies
** Your child's teacher may suggest additional supplies for their class.**
Kindergarten
- 8 Elmer’s glue sticks (everyone)
- 6 black fat Expo dry erase markers (everyone)
- 1 box of tissues (everyone)
- 1 box baby wipes (everyone)
- 1 foaming hand soap and/or refill bottle (everyone)
- 1 box of Crayola washable markers. (boys)
- 1 box gallon zip lock bags (boys)
- 1 box quart zip lock bags (boys)
- 1 box snack size zip lock bags (girls)
- 1 hand sanitizer (girls)
- 1 container of Lysol wipes (girls)
Your teacher may suggest additional supplies for their class.
First Grade
- Backpack – non rolling
- 1 plastic supply box
- 1 pack of 12 yellow #2 pencils
- 1 pair of scissors
- 6 glue sticks
- 2 packs of 24 count Crayola Crayons
- 1 box of 12 count colored pencils
- 4 Black dry erase markers
- 3 wide ruled composition books (1 of each color - red, yellow, blue)
- 3 plastic folders with prongs and pockets (1 of each color - red, yellow, blue)
- one 1.5 inch 3-ring binder (no D rings)
- 1 bottle of 8oz sanitizer (Girls only)
- 1 container of Clorox wipes (Boys only)
- 1 Box of tissues
- 1 Box of Crayola Washable Markers
- 2 Highlighters (any color)
- Personal USB headphones for Istation/computer

Second Grade
- Backpack – non rolling
- #2 yellow pencils
- 1 pair of personal, inexpensive USB headphones
- 3 wide ruled composition notebooks (red, green, blue)
- 1 box of crayons (16 or 24 count)
- 1 one inch three ring binder (any color/design)
- 1 yellow plastic 2-pocket folder and one additional plastic folder (any color)
- 2 black dry erase markers
- 2 large glue sticks
- scissors
- 1 plastic pencil box

Third Grade
- Backpack – "non-rolling"
- one reusable water bottle for daily use
- 1 pencil pouch (no pencil boxes/large cases)
- 1 (one) 1.5 inch three-ring binder with clear pockets (any color)
- One 5-subject wide-ruled notebook (any color, simple designs only)
- 1 composition notebook (wide-ruled)
- 3 plastic two pocket folders (three different colors)
- 1 pack of wide ruled notebook paper
- 2 packs of #2 pencils, pre-sharpened
- 1 crayon storage box
- 1 six pack of glue sticks
- 8-pack of thin black Expo dry-erase markers
- 4-pack of highlighters (multi-colored pack)
- Headphones (no earbuds) with USB port or dongle
- Girls - 1 paper towel roll, 2 boxes of tissues
- Boys - Post-it Sticky Notes, Clorox Wipes
** No handheld sharpeners.

Fourth Grade (Individual items)
Required:
(any color/design)
-Four plastic folders with pockets and prongs
-One ½ inch binder with pockets
-One composition notebook
-USB headphones (no Bluetooth)
(optional)
-Personal coloring tools that fit in a pencil pouch
-Pencil pouch if bringing coloring tools
Optional community donations:

Fifth Grade
- 3 – 3 prong/2 pocket folders
- 4 spiral notebooks
- One 3 ring binder (1 inch to 1 ½ inch)
- one soft pencil pouch (with holes to be kept in the 3 ring binder, large enough to hold classroom supplies)
- several #2 pencils (not mechanical)
- cap erasers
- scissors
- blue or black pen
- colored pencils
- glue sticks (throughout the school year)
- USB headphones
Classroom Community Supplies
- 1 box of tissues
If your student thinks (s)he will need any of these items for that night’s homework but doesn’t have them at home, (s)he can certainly ask to borrow them for the night. Please remember that it is expected that these items are returned the next school day.
Personal items that are not allowed in our classroom for various reasons:
- mechanical pencils
- gel or milky pens
- individual pencil sharpeners
- White-out
- permanent markers, such as Sharpies
- liquid glue
