PTC Cosmetology: Fall 2020 Hair and Make Up Event

The cosmetology program at Pinellas Technical College St. Petersburg campus held its annual student showcase. This year, the event was a Fall theme concept in hair and makeup. Sixteen students participated in the competition.

1st Place - Sarah Sebastian

This event provided students an opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills from the cosmetology program in a creative way. The finished competition mannequins included a wide variety of innovative make up and hair styles with student developed themes.

2nd Place - Simone Durant

The event was held November 18 -20, 2020 and took center stage in central mall of the campus. Staff and students participated in voting. There were two levels of voting, the popular vote and the technical application votes. During the three-day event, over 500 votes were cast.

3rd Place - Evona Lewis

The PTC Cosmetology program prepares students for licensure in the state of Florida. The program is 14 months in duration and provides students with a well-rounded educational experience in hair, skin and nail care.
