    It is suggested that you go ahead and purchase the first 4 grade insignias since it is a requirement that new cadets promote through All 4 grades of Phase (I) during their first 4 quarters in the program.

    In particular you will need the Cadet Airman, Cadet Airman First Class, Cadet Senior Airman, and Cadet Staff Sergeant Chevrons. (1,2,3,and 4 Stripes)

    You do not need the CAP Collar Device.
