Savannah Brooks

  • My name is Savannah Brooks and I started Perkins in 2000 in Mrs. Miller's class. I remember before long it was 2006 and it was time for us all to move on to middle school. The years at Perkins were the best years and the years I will never forget. During my years at Perkins, I was involved in art, lead by Michelle Crosby, dance, lead by Rebecca Hobbs, the gifted program, led by George Potts and Anne Weller, and I played the violin and cello, taught by Sharon Greco. I miss everyone I went to school with because I haven't seen them in 7 years.

After elementary school, I moved to Brooksville, Florida where I attended Parrott Middle School. There I excelled in the gifted program and athletics; track to be exact. I then moved on to the school I am currently at; Hernando High School. Hernando High is where I am currently a senior and excited to graduate. Currently I also attend a community college where I study anatomy, biology, and all kinds of sciences and I am almost done with my AA degree.

I am active in soccer and track at my high school and the National Honors Society at my college. There is no orchestra up here where I live so I was forced to give it up. On top of high school and college, I hold a hostessing job. Come February, I will have my certificate to be a medical assisstant, which will be the start to my career. I plan on attending USF to major in nursing and obtain my master's degree.
