Math concepts are integrated across the curriculum and included in music, art, and Spanish lessons. Our teaching best practices in mathematics include both computational and conceptual skills building. Manipulatives and problem solving activities are always a part of building a strong foundation in number sense and operations. Students are encouraged to explore their mathematical world through use of existing technology including calculators, programs on our network, and the Internet.
