Academically, Mrs. Burns is a Masters prepared nonprofit, and for profit, business professional; experientially, she is a dynamic leader with functional expertise in project management and program development and implementation.  After a successful career in executive recruitment and contract staffing which included sales and training, she transitioned to education.  Her decision provided the opportunity to employ strategic and collaborative processes to improve and exceed teaching and learning objectives. Considered by peers to be a passionate advocate for Pinellas County students, she is steadfast in her resolve to deliver innovative ideas in support of relevant career and technical skills development for today's youth.
