James Kiblinger - Principal of Dunedin High School

James Kiblinger is the Principal at Dunedin High school with more than 35 years of experience as an educator. He grew up in a family of educators, which inspired him to pursue his degree in teaching from Central Michigan University. He later received his master’s degree in counseling at Michigan State University and furthered his education by obtaining his Ed. Specialist degree from Saginaw Valley State University. James began his career in Michigan where he had gained extensive administrative, curriculum, counseling, organization and planning skills.

James’ father was from Florida and his grandparents lived in Dunedin. He spent many years, both as a child and as an adult visiting the Dunedin area. In 2010, after 25 years as a Michigan educator and principal, he moved to Florida and began his career in Pinellas County. Since relocating to Pinellas County, he has been assistant principal at Northeast High School and then transferred to Dunedin High School where he was an assistant principal for one semester before becoming the high school principal.

James enjoys Nascar, hunting, and fishing. He is a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church and treasures time spent with his family and his grandchildren. He takes much pride in his faith, family, and work.
