    This past week, senior Xavier Capestany represented DHS proudly in the Florida All-State TTBB Chorus. The group had a great concert and really worked hard over the course of two days. If you see him around, congratulate him! It is not easy to get in and then also also push through ALL of the rehearsals.
     
    This Saturday, from 9:00-1:00, the theatre department will be having a Car Wash to help raise money for our troupe to attend state competition. (Fees doubled in price this year, so yay for making it to state, not so yay for the bill.) If you are able to, help us out and swing by for a few minutes! Hope to see you there!
     
    Last thing, February 8th (Saturday), we will be having a Flapjack fundraiser at Applebees (30180 US Hwy. 19 North, Clearwater, FL 33761) from 8:00-10:00. This is a ticketed event so if you are interested in purchasing a $5.00 ticket (Each ticket is valid for 3 pancakes, 2 sausage links, and choice of coffee, tea, juice or soda), please let me know so we can get that purchase completed and reserve a seat for you. 

    Congratulations to these DHS vocal students. They sang some tough music with exemplary musicianship and heart. We have the BEST kids!
