    • Spanish 1-6 and AP
    • Conversation/Composition Class (Pre-req is Spanish III)

Osceola is the only school to offer Italian as a foreign language class in all of Pinellas County.

All world languages classes work on different projects  which help the students interact in the target language in a number of true life situations chosen from a variety of contexts. These projects enhance their: communication skills, writing, reading, listening and speaking. They also give them an understanding and a perspective of the cultural. All these projects encourage and motivates the students to learn how they can prepare themselves for the different bilingual jobs which are growing rapidly in the 21st century.

We also  take our students every year to St. Petersburg International  Folk Fair. In this event both parents and students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures via the tasting of a variety of exotic food from  more than thirty countries which are represented.

Field Day is another wonderful event we have during the year. Parents along with their children are invited to attend this workshop. In this event the students of Osceola compete with the students from different schools throughout Pinellas County. Some of the activities include: memorizing poems in the various languages, contemporaneous speaking in the target language, workshops for making cooking international food, performing using dances styles from different countries, and making crafts.
