Pinellas Education Foundation Scholarship Application (PEFSA) - NOW OPEN; COMPLETE BY JANUARY 31
- Ranging from $500 to $5,000, numerous scholarship opportunities are available to high school graduating seniors in the Pinellas County Public School system. Students only need to fill out one application to match their needs and future interests with nearly 100 scholarship opportunities.

Pinellas School Counselor Association 2025 Scholarship Opportunity
Eligibility & General Guidelines:
• Student must be a senior in a Pinellas County high school.
• Essays should not exceed one page providing detailed information on the impact a school counselor (from elementary, middle or high school) has had on the student.
• All applications must be submitted with a completed PSCA Essay Competition Entry Form.
• All applications must include one letter of recommendation from a school staff member.
• All applications must include proof of admission/enrollment at a four-year university, two-year college, or vocational program.Deadlines:
March 2025 - PSCA scholarship information distributed to high school counselors
April 2025 - Deadline for submissions April 11, 2025
May 2025 - Winner announcedAWARD: $500

Give Kids a Chance
Give Kids A Chance is offering scholarship grants in the amount of $1,250 to high school seniors planning to attend college. To be eligible for a scholarship, you must have the following criteria:• Be a graduating senior from a public high school.• Be a Florida resident.• Have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.• Must document financial need. Eligible students must have a family income that is less than 60% of the median family income of the area in which they reside.• Demonstrate an interest in pursuing higher education.• Show involvement in school or community activities.• Two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers or other community representatives.Award recipients are invited to re-apply each year they remain in college. As long as the following criteria is met:
• Maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale.)
• Have been in college no more than four years.
Key Dates:
Application Deadline: April 30, 2024 - Last day for applications to be submitted for review (post dated no later than April 30, 2024).
Notification: April 30, 2024 (approximately) - The Miami Foundation will mail award notifications to the student and high school to make arrangements for the issuance of your award.
Award sent to recipient: July 31st, 2024 (approximately) - Sent to recipient (payable jointly to school and recipient.)To Apply:Download the application here to mail back OR complete the application online here through The Miami Foundation's portal.Note: Please only apply once either by submitting the application via mail or submitting online through The Miami Foundation's portal. Student-View Scholarship Program
The Student-View Scholarship is a unique opportunity for high school seniors.
It is open to all students regardless of academic achievement or financial need.
It is exceptionally easy to apply:
* NO minimum SAT or ACT score
* NO minimum grade point average
* NO lengthy, time-consuming paperwork
* NO essays
* NO application feesSimply complete a 15-25 minute online survey about local colleges. You will then be automatically entered into a random drawing for a scholarship award.
AWARD:
One (1) individual prize of a $10,000 scholarship.
Two (2) individual prize of a $1,000 scholarship.
Three (3) individual prizes, consisting of $500 scholarships each

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships
While most other scholarships focus exclusively on academic achievement or leadership potential, Horatio Alger Scholarships are also intended for promising students who have critical financial need, demonstrate integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and are determined to succeed.
