If you are interested in taking dual enrollment classes you must first apply to SPC and take the PERT test. See steps below on how to take the PERT

How do I take the PERT Test?

Step One: Apply to St. Petersburg College to receive an SPC student number and SPC live email account.

    1. Create a SPC Application https://myguest.spcollege.edu/psp/ps/APPLICATIONCENTER/GUEST/h/?tab=APPS

Once the application opens, select High School Programs student.

    1. Once the application is submitted, the student will receive their SPC ID number and e-mail account.
    2. The student must activate this account and create a password.

Step Two:  Activate SPC live email account.

    1. Log in using your SPC e-mail address and password
      1. Your MySPC password could be the same password you created when you first applied to SPC
      2. Click on the appropriate link to create/reset your password.
    2. For a newly created password, there may be up to a 30-minute delay for it to be established.
    3. If you forgot your password, follow the steps below (we recommend using Firefox or Google Chrome):
    4. Please go to https://myacct.spcollege.edu/AccountReset/
    5. On the next page, enter student ID and click submit to obtain a temporary password.
    6. You will need Student ID (your SPC ID #), last 4 of SSN, and date of birth.
    7. Highlight/copy the temporary password.
    8. Click on link: Go to Login screen. Type your student e-mail address and paste temporary password.
    9. A new box will pop up prompting you to change your password to Update your password.
    10. Paste the temporary again in the Old password field.  The ‘old password’ = the temporary password.
    11. Once your password has been set, you will be directed to the SPC login using your SPC student e-mail address and your new password.
    12. If you experience difficulty, please contact Technical Support Center at 727/341-4357

Step Three: Sign up for the PERT Test with School Counselor

Schedule a meeting with your School Counselor to sign up for the PERT Test. You will need to provide your SPC ID number to your counselor at this time.
