Dual Enrollment

St. Petersburg College (SPC)
Through this part-time program, students can take college courses at SPC or on their high school campus, earning credits toward both high school graduation and a college degree. There are no costs for application, tuition, or required textbooks for Pinellas students taking courses on SPC campuses.
Student eligibility requirements:
Enrolled as a current Pinellas County student (grades 6-12 are eligible)
3.0 unweighted GPA on a minimum of seven (7) high school credits in a combination of math, science, English or social studies.
University of South Florida (USF)
Qualified high school students are eligible to participate in USF’s dual enrollment program and earn credits toward a degree while still enrolled in high school.
Student eligibility requirements:
Minimum 3.5 high school GPA
Minimum scores on ONE of the following tests: Students can only take courses within the discipline which they pass.

- SAT: 560 Critical Reading / 530 Math
- ACT: 21 Reading / 21 Mathematics
- PERT: 106 Reading AND 103 Writing,114 Math to take natural sciences, and 123 Math to take MAC 1105 or higher.
- PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 Regular: Reading (24), Writing/Language (25), Mathematics (24) Digital: Reading and Writing (490), Math (480)
- CPT (Accuplacer): 256 Reading AND 253 Writing /and/or 250 AAF
- CLT (Classic Learning Test): 38 Verbal + Writing (V+W) / 16 Quantitative (Q math) Minimum Total Score 54
University of Florida (UF)
Dedicated staff, led by Litza Echeverria Rubio, aim to provide a personalized experience to students participating in this program. They work with students, parents, and school counselors to ensure success in their program, from course selection advising to helping students stay on track in their online courses.
Student eligibility requirements:
Be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a high school.
3.6 unweighted GPA.
Take one of the four following standardized tests:

- SAT – with a 1100 composite score
- ACT – with a 22 composite score
- PSAT – 1130 (PSAT 10/NMSQT only)
- CLT score of 72
Pinellas Technical College (PTC)
This Dual Enrollment program offers high school students the unique opportunity to earn credits towards both a high school diploma and career training, tuition-free. With a variety of programs to choose from, students can explore different career paths and gain valuable skills.
PTC programs are a full-year commitment and submitting an application does not mean automatic acceptance.
Student eligibility requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old
Entering their junior or senior year in high school
Minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0, or 2.5 GPA for medical-related programs.
