Social Worker
Joheisly Espinal-Gonzalez (espinalgonzalezj@pcsb.org) is our school's social worker. She is a trained professional who supports students' emotional, social, and academic well-being. In addition, she works within the school to help students overcome challenges that may interfere with learning, such as family issues, mental health concerns, behavioral problems, or social difficulties.
Her responsibilities typically include:

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators

Addressing issues like bullying, absenteeism, or crisis intervention

Psychologist
Paula Thomas (thomaspau@pcsb.org) is our school's psychologist. She is a professional who supports students' learning, behavior, and mental health through assessment, intervention, and collaboration. She also works with students, teachers, and families to help address academic, emotional, and social challenges.
