    BayCare Health System provides athletic trainers to Pinellas County Schools. Through this partnership, athletic training services provided by Dr. Burton aims to provide the upmost care for the student-athletes of Dunedin High School. Athletic training services ranges from emergency care to rehabilitation of athletic injuries and much more. Athletic Training constantly evolves to provide the appropriate healthcare for youth athletes. With this, the athletic training department at Dunedin High has partnered with Sports Medicine Professionals within the community.

    Athletic Training Intern
    Dr. Burton is a preceptor for the University of Tampa Athletic Training Program. Yearly, upper level interns complete their final year of clinicals at Dunedin High before taking their national certification exam through the Board of Certification.     Nutrition
    The athletic training department at Dunedin High has access to a certified and Licensed Dietician to assist with our nutritional needs for sports performance. Let Dr. Burton know if you would like to speak with our dietician for your sports performance needs.
