Mrs. Teresa Bodolay

My name is Teresa Bodolay and I am proud to be part of the first grade team at Tarpon Fundamental. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree from the University of Florida.  This will be my ninth year teaching full-time at Tarpon Fundamental. I was the reading intervention teacher at Tarpon Fundamental from the 2012 through the 2015 school year. I truly enjoy working with students and watching them learn and grow as young scholars.

On a personal note, I live in Clearwater with my husband and three children. All three of my children attended and graduated from Tarpon Fundamental. I enjoy family time and spending time outdoors.

Ms. Shannon McConville

My name is Shannon McConville and I have been teaching at Tarpon Fundamental for 23 years. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade at our school and I truly enjoy teaching the little ones! Each year, I look forward to watching the growth of my students as learners and as young people. I feel that I learn so much from my students each year about how to grow as a teacher and a human being! It is an absolute privilege to be a teacher and I look forward to each year to making a difference in the lives of my students!

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my daughter, reading, shopping, and going for long walks!

Ms. Alexandra Rodriguez

Hello! My name is Alexandra Rodriguez and this is my third year teaching at Tarpon Springs Fundamental, but my first year in first grade. I graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have two cats, named Jax and Missy, who I adore. A fun fact about me is that I am a vegetarian.

I am passionate about making sure that each one of my students is a lifelong learner. I strive to guide students to a deeper level of thinking while learning how to effectively collaborate with their peers. I look forward to teaching first grade here at TSFES during this 2024-2025 school year.
