MISSION STATEMENT FOR ATHLETICS
“TO PROVIDE PINELLAS COUNTY SCHOOLS WITH AN EQUITABLE, WELL COORDINATED INTERSCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES PROGRAM WHICH WILL ENABLE ALL SCHOOLS TO DEVELOP THEIR STUDENT ATHLETES TO THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL”
Welcome to our district’s athletic website. The purpose of this site is to communicate how the athletic program in Pinellas County aligns with the mandates of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), our governing body. Our county participates in a “Centralized Athletic Program” which provides equal opportunity for all students to participate in an interscholastic athletic program. Pinellas County is extremely proud of our dedicated coaches who spend countless hours working with student athletes to showcase their athletic skills while instilling the highest values associated with competition and sportsmanship. I would like to thank the coaches, our administration, athletic coordinators, parents, booster clubs and outside organizations. Their contributions and generous support maximizes opportunities for our student athletes. Let’s continue working together in this great community to recognize athletics as an integral part of education. Have a great year!Sincerely,Marc Allison
