Maintenance and Warehouse are integral to the development, preservation and servicing of all district facilities and equipment.   Did you know there is a staff of over 300 that keeps our facilities in top shape - The department has -  air compressor/emergency systems techs, appliance refrigeration techs, automotive equipment operator, boiler mechanics, cabinetmakers, carpenters, carpet & equipment maintenance techs, carpet installers, clerk specialists, clerk typists, dispatchers, document systems operators, electricians, electronics techs, managers, glaziers, groundskeepers, HVAC mechanics, heavy equipment operators, instrument techs, irrigations techs, locksmiths, foremen, shop planners, masonries, materials clerks, material expediters, multi-trades utility workers, painters, pest control techs, plasterers, plumbers, roofers, service techs, sheet metal mechanics, small engine mechanics, stock clerks, store keepers, technical project coordinators, truck drivers, turf maintenance techs, welders and many more highly skilled personnel.

There is even an apprentice program partnership with Pinellas Technical College in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance refrigeration department.

The amazing staff not only put 100% to ensuring all facliities are well maintained but they also give their own personal time to our community.
