2019-2020 Student Calendar

  • Aug. 14, 2019: All schools open. All Pre-k and postsecondary schools’ classes begin.
    Sept. 2, 2019:  Labor Day holiday – No school for students.
    Oct. 11, 2019:  End of first quarter.
    Oct. 14, 2019: No school for students. (a) *Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Nov. 23, 2019 -
    Dec. 1, 2019:         		 Thanksgiving holiday week – No school for students. (a) Possible hurricane make-up days on 11/25/2019 and 11/26/2019)
    Dec. 20, 2019:  End of first semester.
    Dec. 21, 2019 -
    Jan. 5, 2020:          		 Winter holidays - No school for students.
    Jan. 6, 2020:  No school for students. (a) Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Jan. 7, 2020:  Second semester begins.
    Jan. 20, 2020:  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday - No school for students.
    Feb. 17, 2020:  No school for students.
    Mar. 13, 2020: End of third quarter
    Mar. 14, 2020 -
    Mar. 22, 2020:    		 Spring holidays – No school for students.
    Mar. 23, 2020:  No school for students. (a) Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Mar. 24, 2020: Schools reopen. Classes resume. 
    Apr. 10, 2020:  No school for students.
    May 25, 2020: Memorial Day holiday – No school for students.
    May 29, 2020:   Last day for all students (with the exception of Adult students at the Postsecondary Centers). Students will be released two hours early.
