The Viking Branch is a unique opportunity for young adults to gain meaningful experience. Each day is a new learning experience. Students face situations daily in which they will have to: work with customers, balance the vault and cash drawer to the penny, work as a team player, maintain accuracy and efficiency, and learn to work under pressure. It is fun, exciting, and always a challenge in the Viking Branch. This is as real as it gets!

In 2003, Achieva Credit Union launched a joint venture with Northeast High School's Academy of Finance to open the on-campus Viking Branch to serve students, and school faculty and support staff - the first of it's kind in the Pinellas County area! Run by trained AOF students, the Viking Achieva Branch provides financial service to our Northeast High School population.

Viking Branch Objectives:

• Teach students to save and manage money wisely
• On-the-job training for finance students
• Create leadership and job shadowing opportunities
• Provide internships that can lead to financial service careers

Viking Branch Mission:

Our mission is to provide financial solutions that help Northeast High School students and employees simplify their lives and achieve their goals, and to educate members about financial responsibility.
