    He joined the Army in June of 1993 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) as a Cannon Crewman (13 Bravo) at Fort Sill, OK. After completing Basic Training he  served in 3/29th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Carson, Colorado; He served in a Special assignment unit, Istanbul, Turkey; He served in 3/18th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; and Dallas Recruiting Battalion, Dallas, Texas; He served in a 1/10th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Benning, GA during that time deploying to Iraq for the (Liberation of Kuwait campaign); He served as a Drill Sergeant in the 1/40th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; He served in 4/2nd Striker Brigade Fort Lewis, WA during this time he deployed to Iraq twice; He served as a First sergeant in 1/40th Field Artillery Basic Training Battalion, Fort Sill, OK;   He served in the 2/18th Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Upper Iowa University. He is a graduate of Advanced Military Leadership Academy, Army Recruiting Academy, Drill Sergeant Academy, and Field Artillery Academy.     Began his career as a Military Intelligence Specialist in 1988 with the 201st Military Intelligence Battalion, Vint Hill Farms Station, VA. He deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield and Storm before leaving the Army to pursue his college education. He graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of South Florida in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and was commissioned into the Medical Service Corps. His first assignment was with the 86th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY where he served as Company XO, Adjutant and Medical Supply Officer. Additional assignments include Chief of Medical Supply, Fort Belvoir, VA; Project Manager, Fort Detrick, MD; Battalion S-4, Fort Polk, LA; Company Commander, Baghdad, Iraq; Medical Operations & Logistics Officer, Fort Belvoir, VA; Medical Recruiting OIC, Columbia, SC; Secretary of General Staff, Fort Gillem, GA; MEDCOM G-7, Pinellas Park, FL. LTC Miller earned a master’s degree in Management & Leadership from Webster University and holds the Army Strategist designator. He is a graduate of the Command & General Staff Officer Course (ILE), Combined Arms Service Staff School, AMEDD Officer Advanced Course, Medical Logistics Management Course, and AMEDD Officer Basic Course.
