Student Make-Up Work Processes

The district recognizes that students may be absent from school and will need to complete make-up work as a result of the absence.
Make-up work for students is outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and School Board Policy 5500.05:
Make-up work for full credit and without a grade penalty is allowed for all absences. It is the student's responsibility to obtain the missed work. The number of days allowed to make up the work shall be equal to the number of days the student was absent.
Per School Board Policy, it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to request and complete the make-up work in the required number of days.
Student should contact teachers to inquire about make-up, either in-person or through Teacher Email.
