Do you want to be a Viking for the 2025-2026 school year?

It’s never too early to start planning for your future!  On Tuesday, October 8^th, 2024, Northeast High School will open its doors to welcome students and their families from across the county to attend Discovery Night!  Northeast’s four District Application Programs will be on display, along with other programs and departments that make Northeast the best school for your future.

From 5:30 – 7:30, come to our open campus to learn more about:

• The Academy of Finance,
• The Academy of Information Technology,
• The Culinary Arts Academy,
• The Automotive Academy,
• Our Army JROTC Program,
• Our National Demonstration AVID Program,
• Our Extensive Fine Arts Program,
• And more!

Students and staff will be available to answer your questions and share activities and projects.  In addition, food trucks will be on site for the event!  Please enter campus through the main entrance on 16^th Street, the parking lot on 54^th Street, or through the entrance next to Football Stadium. 

In addition to Discovery Night, Northeast High School has opened shadowing opportunities for prospective 8^th grade students who are interested in joining one of our four outstanding academies for the 2025-2026 school year.  Shadowing, that runs Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, is a great way for students to experience courses that they would take if they are accepted into one of our four District Application Programs: The Academy of Finance, The Academy of Information Technology, The Culinary Arts Academy, and The Automotive Academy.
