Color Guard

  • The Royal Battalion Color Guard is an extremely dedicated and hardworking team of Cadets that focus on the execution of military marching/regulation drill. The Color Guard is a group of four Cadets that present the United States and Army flags (colors) at games and ceremonies. Presenting the Colors is a military tradition dating back to the beginning of our country. When performing Color Guard duties, these four Cadets march in a line performing complex movements. The Cadets on each end carry rifles, while the middle-left Cadet (as  you are facing the Cadets) carries the US flag and the middle-right carries the Army flag. Before events, Cadets present the colors and if required, retire the colors at the end of the event. The opportunities the Color Guard presents are a valuable and rewarding addition to any cadet’s time in JROTC.
