Welcome to Hollins JROTC

  • JROTC is a high school elective course that prepares cadets for college and for their future. JROTC promotes leadership skills in real life situations and increases the student's awareness of his or her rights and privileges as an American citizen. To ensure success through JROTC, instructors teach planning, leading and the development of good study habits and test-taking skills.

    Why join Army JROTC?

    Earn credits in JROTC!
    • 2 years: 1 HOPE credit
    • 1 PE credit
    • 1 Practical Arts credit
    • Each completed year of JROTC curriculum: 1 elective credit
    • JROTC JCLC (summer camp): 1/2 Leadership Skills, Development and Techniques Credit
