The Cash Management Department maintains a Managed Investment Program ('MIP') to invest the district's funds. The district invests in the following types of securities: the State Board of Administration's local government surplus funds trust fund investment pool; money market funds that specialize in Treasury securities; U.S. Government bonds; and U.S. Agency bonds.
