• Purpose:  To foster a life-long love of reading
     
    The DHHS book club meets weekly in the media center.  Meetings are held Tuesdays at lunch.  Any student may join. Members bring discussion topics based on the book to the meetings.  
     
    For 2016-2017 the students will be reading three of the Florida Teen Reads selections, and one award winning book.
     
    • Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman
    • Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
    • A Thousand Pieces of you Claudia Gray
    • I am Princess X by Cherie Priest

    Students will be provided copies of the book or they may obtain one on their own.

     Students who bring signed Property Removal Forms will be allowed to check out media center Kindles that have these books loaded onto them.  Students will be responsible for replacing any Kindles that are damaged or lost.
