• Armed regulation drill consists of a team of 12 cadets, who march with rifles, and a commander who carries a saber. Cadets learn manual of arms (rifle movements) and compete at the regional level each year, with the opportunity to compete at the national level. Our cadets put on a display of confidence with sharp movements and complete control of their rifles, impressing judges at competition. The CHS armed drill team is the standard for military flair and placed first at the regional level during the 2020-2021 school year.

Armed regulation drill practice occurs once a week for the duration of an hour. Practice is open to all cadets, and those who show commitment to the practice time join us at competition, regardless of if they make the competitive team.
